Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 8, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ago Home Services website (agohomeservices.com), our online estimate and booking tools, our customer portal, and the residential cleaning services we provide. “Ago,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean Ago Home Services, 354 S Broad St, Suite 116, Trenton, NJ 08608. “You” means the person using the website or booking a service.

These Terms have two parts:

  • Part A – Website and booking terms: apply to everyone who uses our website, estimator, booking tools or customer portal.
  • Part B – Residential Cleaning Service Agreement: applies to every residential cleaning you book with us.

Commercial clients are covered by our Commercial Cleaning Service Agreement instead of Part B. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these Terms.

By using the website, booking a cleaning, checking the agreement box, or accepting service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or book a service.

Part A – Website and booking terms

A1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to book a service. If you book for someone else, such as a family member, tenant or rental guest, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and to give us access to the property.

A2. Estimates and prices

  • Prices shown by our online estimator or booking form are estimates based on the information you enter.
  • The price becomes final when we confirm your booking. It may be adjusted as described in Part B, section 3, if the home differs from what was booked.
  • We may correct pricing errors, typos and display mistakes at any time, including after you submit a booking. If a correction changes your price, we will tell you before service, and you may cancel without charge.

A3. Bookings and confirmation

  • Submitting a booking request is an offer to buy our services. A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it by email, text or in the customer portal.
  • We may decline or cancel any booking. Examples include a service area we do not cover, safety concerns, incomplete information, or past non-payment. If we cancel, you are not charged for that booking.

A4. Your account and the customer portal

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you think your account has been used without permission. We may suspend accounts that are misused.

A5. Communications

  • By giving us your contact details and checking the consent box, you agree to receive calls, emails and text messages from us about your bookings and account. These may be sent with automated technology.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help.
  • Marketing messages are sent only with your consent where the law requires it. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase.
  • See our Privacy Policy for details.

A6. Promotions

Any promotion, discount, coupon, referral credit or special offer:

  • is subject to its stated terms;
  • may be changed or canceled by us at any time;
  • cannot be combined with other offers unless stated;
  • has no cash value; and
  • is void where prohibited.

A7. Acceptable use

When using the website you agree not to:

  • give false information or book in someone else’s name without permission;
  • interfere with or try to gain unauthorized access to the website or our systems;
  • use bots or scrapers on the website;
  • upload harmful code; or
  • use the website for any unlawful purpose.

A8. Intellectual property

The website and its content, including text, logos, graphics, photos and the estimator, belong to Ago or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify or reuse our content or brand without our written permission.

A9. Reviews and content you send

If you send us reviews, photos, testimonials or feedback, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them to operate and promote our business. We will not use photos of your home or your full name in marketing without your permission.

A10. Third-party services and links

Our booking, payment and messaging tools are provided through third-party services, such as our scheduling platform and payment processor, and our website may link to other sites. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services, which have their own terms and privacy policies.

A11. Website disclaimer

The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties about the website, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

A12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Ago is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the website. Our liability for cleaning services is limited as stated in Part B, section 10.

A13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Ago, its owners, staff and contractors harmless from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, that arise from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or false information you give us.

A14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. The version in effect on the date of each service applies to that service. Continuing to use the website or our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

A15. General

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and your booking confirmation are the entire agreement between you and Ago about their subject. They are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Disputes are handled as described in Part B, section 14. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.

Part B – Residential Cleaning Service Agreement

This agreement sets the terms under which Ago Home Services (“Company”) provides residential cleaning to the customer named below (“Customer”). Booking a cleaning, signing below, or accepting service means the Customer agrees to these terms.

1. Parties and purpose

This agreement is between Ago Home Services and the Customer named in the signature block. It covers every residential cleaning the Company performs for the Customer, whether one-time or recurring, until either party ends it.

2. Services

The service type, home size, extras and date are the ones the Customer chose when booking and that appear in the booking confirmation.

Standard clean (recurring visits) includes:

  • Dusting and wiping reachable surfaces
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Cleaning bathrooms (toilet, sink, tub or shower, mirrors)
  • Wiping kitchen counters, sink and the outside of appliances
  • Emptying trash

First clean, deep clean and move-in / move-out clean include the standard clean plus extra detail work such as wiping baseboards, door frames and light switches, and removing built-up dirt.

Extras (inside the oven, fridge or cabinets, interior windows, baseboards, blinds, garage, balcony, laundry and similar) are performed only when booked, at the price shown at booking.

Not included unless agreed in writing: moving heavy furniture, cleaning above reachable height without a step stool, exterior windows, carpet shampooing, mold remediation, and biohazards such as bodily fluids, pest droppings or infestations.

3. Pricing and estimates

  • Prices are flat rates based on the information the Customer gives at booking: service type, bedrooms, bathrooms, extras and pets.
  • If the home differs from what was booked (more rooms, heavier soil, clutter, pet hair, or a larger home than described), the Company will explain the difference before or at the start of service. The Customer can accept the adjusted price or reschedule.
  • Homes with more than 5 bedrooms or 5 bathrooms are confirmed by phone before the first visit.
  • The price shown online is an estimate until the booking is confirmed by the Company.
  • Promotions. Any promotion, discount or special offer is subject to change and may be modified or canceled by the Company at any time. A promotion applies only as stated when it is offered and has no cash value.

4. Recurring plans

  • On a weekly, biweekly or monthly plan, the first visit is a more thorough first clean, priced as shown at booking. Later visits are charged at the regular per-visit price for that plan.
  • Visits continue on the chosen schedule until the Customer pauses or cancels.
  • The Customer may skip a visit, pause or cancel the plan with at least 24 hours’ notice before the next visit. There is no long-term commitment.
  • The Company may change plan prices with at least 14 days’ written notice (email or text). Continuing service after that date means the Customer accepts the new price.
  • If a visit falls on a holiday or is affected by severe weather, the Company will offer the closest available date.

5. Access, keys and pets

  • The Customer provides safe access at the scheduled time: someone at home, a hidden key, or a lockbox or door code, with any instructions given at booking.
  • Keys and codes are used only for the Customer’s service and stored securely. The Company is not responsible for a hidden key that is missing or for a lock or code that does not work.
  • Pets must be secured or kept away from the work area if they are aggressive or anxious. The Company is not responsible for pets that escape through doors the Customer asked to be left open, or for pet-related incidents during service.
  • Homes with pets may carry a pet fee, shown at booking.

6. Payment

  • The Customer provides a valid card when booking and authorizes the Company to charge it for each completed service, booked extras, and any fees in this agreement.
  • Payment is due when the service is completed unless the Company agrees otherwise in writing.
  • If a charge fails, the Company may pause service until the balance is paid.
  • Receipts and invoices are sent by email or text.

7. Cancellations, rescheduling and lockouts

  • The Customer may cancel or reschedule without charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
  • Cancelling or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice carries a $50 fee.
  • If the cleaner arrives and cannot get in, or the home cannot be safely cleaned (no access, no utilities, unsafe conditions), a $50 lockout fee applies.
  • Arrival times are a window. The Company will tell the Customer if a cleaner is running late. The Company may reschedule for illness, weather or emergencies, with no fee to the Customer.

8. Satisfaction and re-cleans

  • If something was missed, the Customer reports it within 24 hours of the service, with photos when possible.
  • The Company will re-clean the missed areas at no charge, at a time that works for both parties. A re-clean is the Customer’s remedy for quality concerns.
  • Completed services are not refundable unless the Company agrees in writing.

9. Chargebacks

The Customer agrees to contact the Company first and allow a reasonable chance to resolve any billing or service concern before disputing a charge with a bank or card issuer. A chargeback filed for a service that was performed, without first contacting the Company, may be contested and, if unpaid, sent to collections, with the Customer responsible for reasonable collection costs.

10. Damage, liability and insurance

  • Ago Home Services carries liability insurance.
  • Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of the service. The Company will inspect it and, if the Company is responsible, repair, replace or reimburse at its choice.
  • The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, items that are loose, fragile or improperly installed, or valuables left unsecured. The Customer should put away cash, jewelry and irreplaceable items before service.
  • The Company’s total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount the Customer paid for that service, except where the law does not allow this limit.

11. Health and safety

  • The Company may decline or stop a service in a home that is unsafe or unsanitary, or where anyone present is abusive or threatening. The lockout fee may apply.
  • Cleaners do not handle biohazards, sharps, weapons, mold remediation or infestations.
  • The Customer tells the Company about any condition cleaners should know about, such as allergies, alarm systems or surfaces that need special products.

12. Cleaners

  • Cleaners may be Company staff or vetted independent contractors working for the Company.
  • During this agreement and for 12 months after the Customer’s last service, the Customer agrees not to hire any cleaner introduced by the Company directly, without going through the Company. If this happens, a placement fee of $1,000 applies.

13. Communications and electronic signature

  • The Customer agrees to receive emails and text messages about bookings, reminders, arrival updates, receipts and service follow-ups. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts.
  • The Customer agrees that signing or accepting this agreement electronically, including by checking the agreement box and signing in the booking form, has the same effect as a handwritten signature.

14. Disputes and governing law

  • The parties will first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other.
  • If it is not resolved, the dispute will go to binding arbitration in Mercer County, New Jersey, except that either party may bring a claim in small claims court.
  • This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

15. General

  • This agreement, together with the booking confirmation, is the full agreement between the parties for residential cleaning.
  • The Company may update these terms with notice. The version in effect on the date of each service applies to that service.
  • If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • Either party may end this agreement at any time with notice; fees already owed remain due.
