It applies to our website agohomeservices.com, our online booking and estimate tools, our customer portal, our phone, text and email communications, and the cleaning services we provide (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

- Home or business details: service type, frequency, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, square footage, add-ons, laundry, pets, and notes you choose to share.
- Access details: how we get in (someone home, a hidden key, a lockbox or door code) and any entry instructions, alarm codes or building instructions.
- Booking and account details: appointment dates and times, your booking history, your customer portal login, and your agreement to our terms, including your electronic signature.

- Business clients: company name, facility details, contact person, and the information in your proposal or scope of work.
Information we collect automatically
- Website and device data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring page, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files that keep booking forms working, remember preferences, measure traffic and, where used, measure advertising. See section 9.
- Communication data: whether an email or text was delivered, opened or clicked, and call logs. Calls to our business lines may be recorded or answered by an automated or AI-assisted phone assistant for quality, training and scheduling purposes. We tell you when a call may be recorded.
Information created when we provide service
- Job records such as the date, team assigned, checklist, notes, before-and-after photos of the cleaned areas, time on site, and any reported issues or damage.
Information from others
- People who book on your behalf (for example a family member, landlord or property manager), referral partners, review sites, and service providers that help us verify addresses or process payments.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Give you estimates, book, confirm, schedule and perform cleanings, and send reminders, arrival updates and follow-ups.
- Share the job details our cleaners need to do the work (see section 4).
- Process payments, send invoices and receipts, manage recurring plans, and handle refunds, disputes and chargebacks.
- Provide customer support and respond to questions, complaints and requests.
- Maintain quality and safety, train our team, and investigate damage, complaints or incidents.
- Send service messages by email, text or phone, and, with your consent where required, marketing messages and promotions.
- Operate, secure and improve our website, booking tools and Services, and prevent fraud and misuse.
- Comply with laws, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, property and safety of our customers, staff and others.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. Our website uses Google Analytics and advertising tags that may count as “targeted advertising” under some state laws (see section 9). You can opt out at any time, as described in section 12. We share information only as follows:
- Our cleaners and staff: the cleaning team assigned to your job receives what it needs: your name, service address, phone number, job details, access and entry instructions, pet information and notes. Team members and contractors are required to keep this information confidential and use it only to do your job.
- Service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that limit their use of your information to the services they provide to us. They include:
- customer relationship management, booking, scheduling and messaging platforms (for example GoHighLevel and FieldTask);
- payment processors (for example Stripe);
- email, text and phone carriers;
- website hosting providers, and analytics and advertising providers such as Google;
- accounting and bookkeeping providers.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when we believe disclosure is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Ago, our customers, staff or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale, financing or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.
- With your direction or consent: for example, when you ask us to coordinate with a landlord, property manager or another person.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. When you enter card or bank details, they go directly to the processor, which handles them under its own privacy policy and security standards (including PCI DSS). We receive limited information, such as the card brand, the last four digits, the expiration date and the payment status, so that we can bill you and answer questions about charges.
6. Text messages (SMS) and calls
- If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts (for example by checking the consent box when booking), we send texts about your bookings: confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, schedule changes, invoices and receipts, and service follow-ups. If you separately opt in to marketing texts, we may also send occasional offers.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, and HELP for help. You can also contact us using the details in section 14. Opting out of marketing texts does not stop essential service messages for a booking you have scheduled, unless you ask us to stop them.
- We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information about your text consent is shared only with the carriers and messaging providers that deliver our messages.
- Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any service.
7. Email
We send service emails about your bookings, invoices and account. With your consent where required, we may send newsletters or offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Service emails continue while you have bookings or an open account with us.
8. Keys, access codes and photos
We treat keys, lockbox codes, door codes and alarm codes as confidential. They are stored in our scheduling systems with access limited to the people who need them for your job. They are not shared beyond the assigned team, and they are deleted or returned when you end service or ask us to. Photos taken during service are used to document the work and handle quality or damage questions. We do not post photos of your home online without your permission.
9. Cookies and tracking
We and our service providers, including Google, use cookies, pixels and similar tracking tools to:
- Keep the site and booking forms working (essential cookies).
- Understand traffic and improve the site. We use Google Analytics, which collects information about your visit such as pages viewed, time on site, device type and approximate location. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Measure and improve our advertising. We use tracking tools such as the Google tag and similar pixels to see which ads and pages lead to bookings, and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. You can manage Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as online booking, may not work without essential cookies. Our site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of any targeted advertising, where the law requires it.
10. How long we keep information
We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes in this policy:
- Customer and job records: while you are a customer, and generally for up to 7 years after your last service, for tax, accounting, warranty and legal purposes.
- Access instructions and codes: until you change them, end service, or ask us to delete them.
- Marketing preferences and opt-outs: for as long as needed to honor them.
- Call recordings and website analytics: for shorter periods, typically no more than 24 months.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
11. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), reputable service providers, and confidentiality obligations for staff and contractors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by New Jersey and other applicable law.
12. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you, or get a copy of it in a portable format.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your personal information, subject to information we must keep for legal, tax or contract reasons.
- Opt out of marketing emails and texts, of targeted advertising, and of any sale or profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects.
New Jersey residents: under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, and where it applies to us, you have the rights listed above. You may also appeal our decision on your request by replying to our response; we will respond to the appeal within the time the law requires. Residents of other states may have similar rights under their state’s law, and we will honor them as required.
To make a request, contact us using the details in section 14. We will verify your identity, normally by matching the email address or phone number on file, before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent if you give them written permission. We will respond within 45 days, or within any shorter period the law requires, and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
13. Children
The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or sell or use for targeted advertising the information of anyone under 17. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
